The wens showers were cold. :(
It's location in the heart of Yosemite.
Fantastic location at the head of the main trails int Yosemite np. So good to be able to stay inside the park and cut the travel time each day.
June is a very busy time of the year so expect to wait for the shared shower facilities and a cold shower or two as the hot water runs out. Food choices are limited, but as there is no cooking allowed in the tented accommodation (due to bear risk), you have to put up with the fast food fare on offer. All in all the park cancels out any negatives to Camp Curry - it is also good to take in the history of the place and know that this has been a favorite destination for so many Americans for so many years - it is easy to see why!
Simple tented accommodation. Ideal for location.take own flashlight. No cooking allowed, but good food available. Tents have lights, but no power outlet. Wifi available in lounge area, where can also charge camera batteries. Highly recomended.
The tents were very simple but fantastic to stay in. It was a great combination of a comfy bed but with a camping feel. The shower facilities were great with plenty of hot water. The whole atmosphere was great and we didn't want to leave!
The whole experience was amazing! Really liked sleeping in a tent in the center of Yosemite National Park. There were plenty of facilities and the pizza was amazing!
You get what you pay for and the experience was worth every penny
Located in the middle of Yosemite. Most other Hotels are far away. Very romantic. but, be aware (this is neither positive nor negative): you are sleeping in tents, which means no own toilet, no own shower, may be colder, sometimes clammy cloths in the morning, "camp-feeling" and camp-rules.
Tents very basic. No heating in the canvas tents (mid of october too cold!). Sleeping bags necessary!!!! You can rent sleeping bags in the sport market (unfortunately reception was not able to tell us - we had to find out on our own). .
Ideal location in the vicinity of the most beautiful trails.
Extremely cold at night with ineffective blankets. Advice: book a heated tent (not much more expensive)
The location is perfect and the shuttle service runs right to curry village. They have a great mess hall with all you can eat buffets. I had a wonderful experience at Curry Village.
An amazing location and great facilities. Wildlife was all around and the tents were comfortable, you could obviously hear other people but it just added to the village feeling. We had a great stay and would return!
I liked the atmosphere, and the location. Yosemite is beautiful and I thought Curry village had everything we needed for the setting Yosemite is supposed to be.
Pricey for two cots.
Great location. Bathrooms clean.
Bit expensive for the services. Room very dusty and blankets not washed between visits.
The tent is neat and clean. The staffs working there are very polite and helpful, especially the employees at the buffet and the front desk.
The location was fantastic. The Tent cabin experience was unique & enjoyable. It is not cheap due to the location but overall its worth it.
The nights are random from a sleep persepctive as you are close to neighbours. Both our nights were spoilt by noise. But not party noise - one was an ambulance parked next to our tent (obviously tending to someone) and the second night was an inconsiderate family checking in late with loud children.
Great location but a big contrast to the 5 star hotel at las Vegas the preceding nights
